Edmonson Electric a division of IES Residential is hiring an Accounts Receivable Assistant! 

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Assistant will review and verify that invoices were billed accurately as well as scan and file documentation electronically.

Specific Qualifications

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Audits and verifies accuracy of billing data and addresses any errors.
• Creates itemized invoices, and other necessary billing documents, which may require calculation of discounts.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to solve problems as they rise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• Must have time management skills, organizational skills, multitasking skills, and detailed oriented.
• Be able to stay focused on tasks and have the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills including active listening and attentiveness.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• At least one year of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
